Today’s general assembly meeting at 7pm at Market Square Park features a question and answer session with members from OccupyHouston’s legal team. If you’ve never been to one of our GAs then make it this one. Ask whatever you want, and KNOW YOUR RIGHTS.
After the meeting is over then it’s off to AvantGarden for an occupation sendoff. Get to know your fellow occupiers and be ready to make your voices heard on Thursday!

I will be there. I am a retired lawyer but stil licensed to practice. Former board member of the “old ACLU”. Let me know what I can do to help.
Will a transcript of the meeting be posted online? I have to work tonight but I would REALLY like to know my rights as a protestor. This will be my first protest, and I’m probably going to be there by myself. I’m pretty nervous about possible police interactions, especially in light of what happened on the Brooklyn Bridge. Knowledge is power, and if anyone has a recommendation for online guidelines for first time protestors, I’d also appreciate that. Thanks.
