Does this clean sweep being planned on the same day as the Robin Hood march have any connection? Perhaps doing it sooner or (probably a better idea) after Halloween could prevent confusion.
Thoughts?
Yeah, I’m with Cole. Here’s the info on the march: http://www.adbusters.org/blogs/adbusters-blog/robinhood.html

It’s ABOUT TIME, You filthy wanna-be Hippies!
Does this mean you are leaving????? For Good! [Hopefully]
Please help me understand, as I am still a bit lost on this project.
Will you be accompanying the city workers, wearing yellow and blue, who clean up trash on the street? That would show a positive attitude, being willing to work with the city and display gratitude for their hospitality, as long as the workers don’t feel like their jobs are threatened by your presence. However, if you are indirectly complaining about how the mayor of Houston is treating you, that is another matter. Make sure your message, no matter how intended, is not misconstrued.

Just pick up the trash! It’s what normal people do in life. They pick up after themselves. Not everything has to have a political statement behind it.
We will be moving the date up to THIS COMING SATURDAY (Oct 22) at 9am in Tranquility Park!! Twitter is abuzz with people eager to help us! Each person will be assigned to a street, and then sweeps to the end of downtown – and then we all go have an awesome lunch. Please bring a broom and a stand-up dustpan if you can. We’re still working on our resources and donations to provide these for future sweeps. We will be providing gloves and trash bags. See you at Tranquility Park this Saturday! We are caring citizens who wish to be involved in the beautification of our city…and we love a good party! Thanks to any and all who support this endeavor.
