Why are there not protestors outside the Criminal Justice Courthouse located at 1201 Franklin?  If I, as a citizen, were being tried for a crime and was found lurking in the hallway taking down the names of jurors, taking pictures of the jurors, intimidating them and most of all, performing an investigation on them.....I would be thrown in jail.  Yet, here we sit in Harris county, the largest county in Texas, in Houston, the fourth largest city in the US, with a DA who has used her power to do just that.  Recently the grand jury of the 185th district court conducted an investigation in to her and her office.  Her head of misdemeanor crimes pled the 5th when questioned.  While it is her right to plead the 5th, someone put in charge of criminals having something to hide in regards to a crime her office may have committed does not look good at all and she should have been fired for doing so.  Instead, she was promoted.  The issue today is that Pat Lykos, the current head DA of Harris County, not only claimed that she did not order an investigation in to the jurors who were investigating her and her office (and now has been confirmed that she did, indeed, order the investigation), she used tax paid employees of her office to do the investigation on paid work time.  The DA's office in Houston is managed by a mob-like mentality thief.  She is the head district attorney, yet she has never tried a case in Harris County as a prosecutor.  She is wasting so many tax dollars in Harris county and this office should be held to account for their greed and misconduct.  Do we want criminals prosecuting the accused in our county?  I believe a protest should take place at the court house to draw attention to this matter.
