If a group of people or one person comes in to destroy this organization, or impeded its progress, should they be allowed to do so if they are obviously not sincere about the well being of the movement?

Or if their intent is to drive others away?

Another funny thing is that OH has blasted cops and yet the cops saved their bacon from the gun toting nutjob the other day - Occupy Hypocrisy!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK, moved the topic to its own thread.

So far, except for Mosheh The zion, who was the victim of an inadvertent deletion (account deletion isn't even a tool I use) and was justified in complaining, the only people crying "censorship" are people who have repeatedly trolled the forums. Examples of trolling may be found in the Trash Bin.

A valid question for members to discuss is, do the moderators censor, and are the moderators' actions appropriate? But as mentioned in another post, because of my job, I'm cutting way back on my moderating as of today. So I may not be active in this discussion. I hope you understand. The important thing is for members to share their views, if they want to.

I'll even make a promise, that for at least the next week, if I see a post pending approval in this thread, I'll approve it. (Note that sometimes I'm offline for long periods, so I may not see the post right away.) I think the only way I wouldn't see it is if another mod either approves or deletes it first, but that's unlikely. Of course, if someone posts a porn video, for example, I'll probably delete the actual video and replace it with something like "[porn video deleted]," but I'll still approve the actual post if I see it.

You're noticing the fact that some users are on moderation. Some of them are on moderation because they engage in persistent trolling or other violations of forum policy (see "Registration Policy" link near bottom of this page). Others are on moderation simply because, as of very recently, all new registrations are automatically on moderation until taken off.

Since this discussion is off-topic for this thread, if you wish to continue it, please either create a topic for it in the General Discussion forum, or let me know and I will.
