Hi. I like others in the group have a disability that is not something recognizable if you look at us. Mine is a brain injury. I feel people like me or others may sometimes have trouble understanding GA procedures and how to appropriately respond to proposals or perhaps even understanding proposals or opinions being stated.
I also agree that newcomers could equally be confused due to lack of visibility, or arriving late to GA if it is their first time attending and they missed the beginning presentation.
People may also be audible leathers (dyslexia etc.) or visual learners, or tactical learners. Here is a link I used to help my son and I with our respective disabilities:

I suggest video taping the procedures and hand signals and placing it on the website and on FB since the social and independent media has been the main way people have been learning about Occupy Houston so they can be more prepared to understand how the General Assembly will be conducted.
I also suggest that this be filmed not during a GA, which may be noisy, but for the videographer and presenter to go to a quiet location or away from home base (I know you are outdoors and it won't be totally quiet) so that the video will have minimal background noise since this can be a learning distration to your video viewing audience.
I believe this may help cut down on confusion, and bring a quicker resolution or passing of proposals.
I will repost this portion in media since I did not find anyone in the media tent after GA last night and had to leave since I had to get home to our family.

Please also create a video introducing the Volunteers to help newcomers get plugged in.
