Assuming that elections and elected officials are highly corruptible, regulating the rules seems to be in line with the movement. Moreover, you/me/anyone cannot buy cold medicine, board an airplane, purchase alcohol, or do hundreds of other basic tasks without showing state issued ID.

Protecting the integrity of the election system is not a Republican vs Democrat issue; it's an American issue. Having to spend $20 on an ID every 10 years seems reasonable.  Unless, of course, the goal is to wipe a party "by any means necessary," even if those means are antithetical to the movement…

From the aforementioned story:

In states where Republicans have taken majority control, they have tightened rules for registering new voters,

As if that is a bad things.  ACORN "registering" 100's of new voters, ALL with the exact same residence, doesn't bother you?

- reduced the time for casting ballots

Weeks and weeks of Early Voting just scream for voter fraud.  Especially in places where you can cast a vote the same day you register.  Oh no, no chance for voter fraud there!

- and required voters to show photo identification at the polls.

So proving who you say you are is a bad thing?  You need a photo ID to open a bank account, you need a photo ID to apply for Gub-ment cheese, you need a photo to apply for ANY job, you need a photo ID for a number of everyday things.  I fail to see how this can even be slightly construed to be an impediment to voting (especially when you are being provided a ride to the polls).  Texas even issues State Photo ID cards (which are good for voting) for FREE.  How much more easy would you like the process to be.  Have someone bring it to these lazy free-loaders?
