No John…It is trespassing..Someone owns that property..They took the fence down and went on the property..That is trespassing..Same as when they broke into that Vacant Building in Washington, D.C…That is trespassing also..If 5 or 10 of my friends went to your house to protest you and we went on your property and in your house would that be civil disobedience? Would you want my friends and I arrested for doing so? I bet you would.

Didn't say it wasn't trespassing. Civil disobedience can take the form of trespassing.

Good questions. Is there a difference between invading a private home/yard and taking over a park and vacant lot? Sounds like you'd say no, and that's fine.

There is a difference. I think people who invade other peoples private property make the movement look bad. The Constitution does not put any restrictions on any locations that the people may peacefully assemble, but does protect private property so any public street or area is subject to protest. Why invade someones private property and give them a reason to resent the movement. If youre going to step over boundaries and tear down a fence and sleep on someones yard then get some balls and do it on the steps of city hall or on the mayors front lawn, not on a fellow citizens private property. I support OWS but there are alot of individuals out there making bad decisions thats hurting the movement.
