I agree that money is a corrupting influence on our elected officials, and it pisses me off too. But I support our Constitution. The founders gave us tools to redress our greivences. The Right to freely assemble is the only one that OWS has… taken advantage of. By assembling to protest, without a concise message to deliver is pointless, and wasted effort. "Corporate Greed" is just a mindless, meaningless slogan, unless there is an actual agenda to promote. I think that the OWS put the cart before the horse.

If the OWS movement was serious, it would be discussing things that would actually solve the real problem of political corruption, Things like Term Limits,  the Flat Tax, and the 28th Amendment.

They would also ally themselves with other like minded groups. The Tea Party has government corruption, Wall St. bailouts, and crony capitalisim at the top of their $hit list. Unfortunately, the mis behavior of the NY OWS and he socialist slogan chanters of the rest of OWS participants around the country, have painted the OWS with a big brush that will not wash off.

Now, the OWS have the support of the Democrat Party, and the AFL-CIO Unions, whether OWS likes it or not, They have been co-opted by the corrupt machine that you claim they are against. It is also interesting to note the the news today, that OWS has been endorsed by the leaders of Iran. But I digress…

You want to end government corruption? Don't vote for corrupted politicians. Clinton, Bush, and Obama are prime examples. You want to bring down corrupt businesses? Don't buy their products. You want jobs in America? Don't buy cheap Chinese crap. You want a better than minimum wage? Get educated, or start your own business.

Marching around downtown Houston shouting "Hey Ho Corporate greed has got to go" will not get you what you want. Only hard work and a focused effort will. I realize that the camping in the park, and waving signs at cars is fun. When you're finished having fun, I hope you all take advantage of the other freedoms that our Constitution guarantees us, and get serious to try to effect real change.  Good Luck.
