In the 11/22/2011 GA meeting (http://occupyhouston.org/2011/…..v-22-2011/) a speaker named "Joe" made reference to an upcoming presentation of OH demands to a Congressman Gary Mendy. He went on to say that we should email Joe with anything else that we would like the Congressman to know.
-What is Joe's email address?
-Who is Congressman Mendy? Perhaps his name is misspelled – because I cannot find him anywhere. Is he a seated member of the US House of Representatives?
I think legislative proposals are a great idea, and I can deliver a set of asks to Cobgressman Ted Poe, and to Texas State Representative Dan Huberty. I would like to discuss a package to Congressman Mendy as well – but I can't find him.

The "Houston Delegation" to the US House is, John Culberson, Ted Poe, Sheila Jackson Lee, Mike McCaul, Kevin Brady and Gene Greene. Unless I'm forgetting anybody, but even if I am, I'm sure it's not anyone named Gary Mendy… Could he be a state Representative?

GARAMENDI! Got it – thank you. He's in California. I was looking at local House Members…

Address Congressmen to the categories of bills that they have presented to Congress and the categories of bills that they have already shown support for. Especially strong suit when the House Representative has already substantial background knowledge of cases that set precedence and of how to best approach the United States Codes that are applicable.
The General Assembly in each city is generally focused on Public Relations. Congradulations on the organization of the meeting schedules and presentations. It will be helpful to collaborate with other city assemblies!
The delegation of research tasks may be low or nil in the area of legal studies. Each city should have organized a team of paralegal or legal researchers for material in each category of law and to write letters of correspondence in the most effective manner.
I can send updates of what bills are In the House each day and a summary of the relevant background information.
