Subject: Re: Your Postings
I just figured you out – you are part of the OWS crowd and you do not espouse the same values as the TEA Party group. We believe in freedom, not socialism, working hard for what you earn, not the gimme stuff because it's not fair that big corporations are "cheating" the people, never mind that they do provide jobs, product that is used, etc. We believe in freedom from oppressive taxation, not more taxation to even out the classes – an unworkable utopian dream that does not work, because are individuals, we are all different, we've all been created to live unique lives, rich or poor, Godly or ungodly. Government is not our god, God is our God.
AN INVITATION TO TEA PARTY MEMBERS: You have been co-opted and betrayed. You have let yourselves be focused on attacking puppets like Obama (and Bush before him) instead of the puppetmasters pulling all strings Left and Right – including YOURS. Don't let that happen to fellow Americans fighting the same enemy as you, just maybe coming from a different direction and attacking in a different way. Wake Up! Rise Up! Join Us! Fight to end Corporate Greed in Government!
It is no coincidence that of the last 14 U.S. presidents, 7 have been Democrats and 7 have been Republicans:
Our Kleptocracy-controlled media focuses on America's two-year election cycles as if who wins or loses in the swinging of the pendulum was a matter of life or death, when in fact even at the Presidential level it makes no more difference than the outcomes of Monday Night Football, American Idol, Dancing With The Stars, Hillbilly Handfishing or the trial of Michael Jackson's doctor. U.S. elections are staged primarily to give Sheeple the illusion of control so they will (a) vent their frustrations and expend their energy, emotions and resources supporting or attacking the Puppet on the Left hand or the Puppet on the Right, and consequently (b) never recognize and challenge the common omnipotent Puppetmaster.
There was no real change in 2008. There was no real change in 2010. There WILL be real change in 2012, but it won't be coming from tele-brainwashed couch potatoes, manipulated voter lists, rigged voting machines or predetermined ballot counts. It will be coming from us…
The 99 Percent
###
I AM NOT ANONYMOUS. I AM AN AMERICAN.
I am not just a Consumer. I am a Citizen.
I will no longer be labeled Left or Right, Liberal or Conservative, Demopublican or Republocrat.
I will no longer follow Puppets labeled Left or Right, Liberal or Conservative, Demopublican or Republocrat.
I am the People. And I am coming for the Puppetmasters.
I am part of the 99 Percent. And I demand the following:
1. End the Fed.
2. Reverse Citizens United.
3. Repeal PATRIOT Act.
4. Expose 9/11 Truth.
5. End Profit Wars.
6. Refund Taxpayer Trillions.
7. Imprison the Kleptocrats.
8. Single Term Limits.
This joke has been circulating around, maybe you have seen it:
A unionized public employee, a member of the Tea Party and a CEO are sitting at a table. In the middle of the table there is a plate with a dozen cookies on it. The CEO reaches across and takes 11 cookies, looks at the tea partier and says, "Look out for that union guy, he wants a piece of your cookie!" :)
Well intended, but naive. Elections are the key to everything. Above all else, one must understand how the US Constitution works. In order for revolutionary change to happen in the US, one faction must obtain 2/3 majorities in the House and Senate, and the Presidency. While the Democrats are not perfect, they are the only vehicle available to do this. At the core of all these problems is one thing: The Republican Party of United States. My list would be more like this:
1) Work at the precinct and convention level to take control of the Democratic Party
2) Elect large leftist majorities to Congress
3) End the 'Filibuster" rule in the Senate that allows a few Senators who have been paid off by special interests to block any and all change to the corporate power structure
4) Pass a Constitutional Amendment requiring all national public office candidates be prohibited from accepting any kind of "campaign contribution" (aka "legalized bribery") and that these elections be public financed.
5) Pass a Constitutional Amendment negating Citizen's United
6) Build a society where people matter more than corporations by forcing those who benefit most from this society, the rich, the corporations, to pay for a national healthcare system and a fully funded retirement system
7) Set up a fund that is funded by a special tax on the banks who received 0% loans from the Fed (at yours and mine's expense) and corporations that were bailed out by TARP and use the money to finance a Space Shot style program to get us off foreign oil and cap our carbon emmissions.
Cut out all the "9-11 truther" crap, it's a distraction and you will be portrayed as crazy rather than a serious proponent of change. And Term Limits? We already have "term limits": they are called "elections". This movement needs to get serious on that one word: ELECTIONS. There is no other viable way for change to happen in the US. Just look at our history. In the 1860s, in the 1930s and in the 1960s, huge leftists majorities were swept into Congress and REAL CHANGE happened: 1860's: The 14th Amendment (we are all equal before the law) and the Amendments ending slavery were passed. 1930's: Social Security, and the system of regulations of corporations that have been dismantled by the corporate stooge's over the past decade were passed. 1960s: The Civil Rights Act. We need to do the same thing as the leftists of those times did! Organize! Vote! STOP "FRIENDLY FASCISM!"
1) Work at the precinct and convention level to take control of the Democratic Party
- Have it. The Dems are nothing but a sad-sack collection of human debris.
2) Elect large leftist majorities to Congress
- NEVER HAPPEN. You leftist loons are a fringe, and will ALWAYS be a fringe.
3) End the 'Filibuster" rule in the Senate that allows a few Senators who have been paid off by special interests to block any and all change to the corporate power structure
- And replace it with what? Your goofy cross-armed "Block". To end a filibuster, you need 60%, to pass something under your 'system' you need 90%. And 1 or two people (far less than 40% of the Senate) can effectively 'Block' something. Didn't necessarily think that one all the way through, did you?
4) Pass a Constitutional Amendment requiring all national public office candidates be prohibited from accepting any kind of "campaign contribution" (aka "legalized bribery") and that these elections be public financed.
- Then ONLY the most wealthy will be able to run for Office, but I thought that was what you wanted to protest against. (How do you propose on financing elections when no-one is going to be working to pay said taxes-See #6)
5) Pass a Constitutional Amendment negating Citizen's United
- So just negate the concept of precedence and relegate the Supreme Court to the ash-heap of history?
6) Build a society where people matter more than corporations by forcing those who benefit most from this society, the rich, the corporations, to pay for a national healthcare system and a fully funded retirement system
- The rich and all the corporations take their money and leave, and what are you stuck with? Why don't you propose that individual retirement accounts be allowed, thereby making the individual responsible for their retirement?
7) Set up a fund that is funded by a special tax on the banks who received 0% loans from the Fed (at yours and mine's expense) and corporations that were bailed out by TARP and use the money to finance a Space Shot style program to get us off foreign oil and cap our carbon emmissions.
- Follow your logic all the way through. Where is this money in the fund going to be coming from? Stew on that for a minute before you shoot off your answer. If you think about it long enough, it will come to you and you will slap your head and go, DOH!!!
- As far as the "Space Shot" program to get us off foreign oil, we have all the oil we need, if and only if the Gub-ment would get out of the way. And there is no, and I will repeat, NO alternative energy source that can effectively replace petroleum-based energy (solar, wind, geo-thermal, pixie-bubbles, you name it).
Look at the moronic crap you post. I stated we need a Constitutional Amendment to negate Citizens United, and you give me a bunch of tripe about "ignoring Supreme Court precedence". Oh, like when they passed a Constitutional Amendment outlawing slavery, that was "ignoring Supreme Court precedence"? Your statement was the statement of someone who is ill-informed. Constitutional Amendment is the correct response to any Supreme Court decision an democracy decides it does not want. The Supreme Court are not our dictators, they, like all government, ultimately answer to The People, and that is what this movement is about. Get some education, and get back to me, the rest of your post is full of the same kind of tripe.
At last. Now we are getting somewhere (save for the name-calling, but I can ignore that for now). You appear to recognize the separation of powers that is one of the foundations of our form of Government (with despite the GA mode, it's not a true Democracy, but rather a representative Republic)
So, ….. your "Peoples Movement"…. What is it that you want?
Other than the standard "forgiveness of debt" and "re-distribution of existing wealth"?
We are all dying to find out (before the weather turns and the Occupy Movement folds up their tents and goes home, because seriously, who wants to hang out with a bunch of dead-beats that rely on donations to exist? Not my words, check the OWS rabble-rousers and their insistence that the HOMELESS go away….. FOR SHAME. I thought this was an all-inclusive movement)
