FYI, I've decided that your post about overthrowing the government, while interesting, violates our forum Registration Policy against encouraging criminal activity. It has been moved to the trash bin, accordingly, and may eventually be deleted. Just letting you know as a courtesy.
By the way, you've posted many of your articles here twice–once in the General Discussion forum and once in the Reference Materials forum. I may clear out the duplicates.
In solidarity,
John

FYI, I've decided that your inability to distinguish (a) people who quote articles written by other people intelligently discussing the overthrow of the government from (b) people advocating a peaceful and therefore legitimate regime change from (c) morons encouraging criminal activity casts serious doubt upon either (1) the actual agenda of whoever is sponsoring this forum and/or (2) your personal commitment to that agenda. As to to any duplicate postings, they were made by request from someone representing themselves as representing Occupy Houston. I have those emails, their original IP addresses, and of course yours as well. Shall we remain brothers in the struggle, or would you rather play a different game? Ain't my first rodeo, son: CALL IT.

ELEVEN REASONS OVERTHROWING THE GOVERNMENT WOULD FIX THE ECONOMY
Global Revolution 1: American Revolution 2: Day 67: Communication 1
IronBoltBruce's Kleptocracy Chronicles for 21 Nov 2011 (g1a2d0067c1)
How many examples of greed and corruption must you see before you act?
"With revolutions all across the Arab world, riots spreading through Europe, and the continued persistence of the economic downturn, it seems like everyone's coming to the consensus that perhaps the situation has become so unthinkably bad that previously unthinkable solutions might be necessary. Government solutions to catastrophic economic collapse have rarely been neat or pretty, but at least in the past they tried to do something bold and mostly succeeded – as opposed to our modern Congress who apparently can't even agree on the fact that they are responsible enough to spend any money."
"So how about we propose a tiny, modest, infinitesimal alteration: just overthrow the whole f'n thing and start from scratch. After all, it's the young, well educated millennials that are getting the hardest shaft from the downturn, and it's the young, educated and unemployed who start revolutions. There's not much else that will kick off a revolution faster than grinding poverty and an excess of free time, especially when you add in upward of $100,000 in student loan debt, piled on in pursuit of what ended up being an empty promise given by baby boomers who have their healthcare paid for by the government, but pale with horror when their children demand the same. So whether we completely re-write the Constitution (which we can totally do by the way), or violently storm the capital, here are 10 ways in which overthrowing the government would help get the economy back on its feet…"
The U.S. Air Force paid Lockheed Martin – the federal contractor that is first in funding, first in fraud, and principal beneficiary of the $1 trillion F-35 boondoggle that eclipsed their F-22 disaster – about 412 million taxpayer dollars each for their problem-plagued and now program-cancelled F-22 fighter jets. With some 170 [Cr|R]aptors still "in service" – but never once used in combat anywhere in the world – that's over 70 billion taxpayer dollars paid to Lockheed for planes that have been absolutely useless militarily. And what did our Pentagon decide to do last week to remedy the situation? Why, GIVE LOCKHEED MARTIN ANOTHER $7.4 BILLION to "upgrade" their grounded F-22 fleet, of course!

SHOW ME WHAT KLEPTOCRACY LOOKS LIKE! THIS IS WHAT KLEPTOCRACY LOOKS LIKE!
Kleptocracy [klep-TOK-ruh-see]: A government or state in which those in power exploit national resources and steal; rule by a thief or thieves. See also the United States of America where, as Goethe said, "None are more hopelessly enslaved than those who falsely believe they are free." Want documented examples of the corporate greed that corrupts our government and fuels the Revolution? Find dozens here, with more to come:
IT IS NO COINCIDENCE THAT OF THE LAST 14 U.S. PRESIDENTS, 7 HAVE BEEN DEMOCRATS AND 7 HAVE BEEN REPUBLICANS.
Our Kleptocracy-controlled media focuses on America's two-year election cycles as if who wins or loses in the swinging of the pendulum was a matter of life or death, when in fact even at the Presidential level it makes no more difference than the outcomes of Monday Night Football, American Idol, Dancing With The Stars, Hillbilly Handfishing or the trial of Michael Jackson's doctor. U.S. elections are staged primarily to give Sheeple the illusion of control so they will (a) vent their frustrations and expend their energy, emotions and resources supporting or attacking the Puppet on the Left hand or the Puppet on the Right, and consequently (b) never recognize and challenge the common omnipotent Puppetmaster.
There was no real change in 2008. There was no real change in 2010. There WILL be real change in 2012, but it won't be coming from tele-brainwashed couch potatoes, manipulated voter lists, rigged voting machines or predetermined ballot counts. It will be coming from us…
I will no longer be labeled Left or Right, Liberal or Conservative, Demopublican or Republocrat.
I will no longer follow Puppets labeled Left or Right, Liberal or Conservative, Demopublican or Republocrat.
I am the People. And I am coming for the Puppetmasters.
I am part of the 99 Percent. And I demand the following:
1. End the Fed.
2. Reverse Citizens United.
3. Repeal PATRIOT Act.
4. Expose 9/11 Truth.
5. End Profit Wars.
6. Refund Taxpayer Trillions.
7. Imprison the Kleptocrats.
8. Single Term Limits.
Yeah, sorry if that sounded harsh. It's been an extremely long day.
I see now that you didn't write the article, and I appreciate your pointing that out. The title is eyecatching, to say the least, and people do see just the title in the topic list, but considering the article, I see your point, that it's arguably not encouraging criminal behavior. That said, I do think that having a title like that in the subject line might scare off potential supporters of Occupy Houston, and I care about Occupy Houston! :-) I think you're somewhere else, but I'm sure you care about Occupy Houston, too :-) Anyway, I'll leave it at that. Come visit Texas sometime!
As far as the duplicate posts, if you were told that the duplicates wouldn't be deleted, then I apologize for deleting them. It's a leaderless movement, and the word didn't get around to me. I really didn't mean to come off as accusatory, either. I could be wrong, but I think the person who asked you to post in Reference Materials didn't intend for the articles to also remain in General Discussion. I'm not saying you had any way to know that, though.
We support OWS in the attempt to bring about fundamental changes in the substance and form of our dysfunctionally corrupt federal and state governments through peaceful means. If those efforts fail due to the continuing illegal and unconstitutional actions – both overt and covert – of the ruling Kleptocratic regime, their puppet politicians and their paid agents, then we must remember these words of wisdom, guidance and inspiration:
"Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable." – John F. Kennedy
"The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants." – Thomas Jefferson
collectedfunk, i didn't take your post as a question. I took it as an opinion. If you'll notice, I haven't moved or deleted this thread, for the reasons I stated above. Seshata's entitled to his opinions, too. If you see someplace where he is directly saying white people are inferior or blatantly insulting another member, report it.
